As an Arrow mechanic, you will perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of tractors, trailers and mobile equipment. We have a very well maintained shop environment!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Great people work here!</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>For more information about our Arrow Reload Divisions, please go to www.arrow.ca/reload</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations </li>\n <li>Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting </li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and orderly work environment </li>\n <li>Provide routine maintenance on tractors, trailers and mobile equipment such as forklifts and loaders </li>\n <li>Check all equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions </li>\n <li>Diagnose defects in all equipment</li>\n <li>Diagnose any faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair that is required </li>\n <li>Perform incidental welding repairs on equipment </li>\n <li>Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service </li>\n <li>Perform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop and road calls when required </li>\n <li>Operate automotive servicing equipment, e.g. A/C recycler, etc. </li>\n <li>Ability to operate the equipment that is serviced i.e. bring trucks, trailers and mobile equipment in and out of the shop.
