This position will also involve restocking the store, maintaining a clean and organized environment, assisting customers, and upholding safety standards.<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> Waterbury, CT<br><strong>Reports to:</strong> Store Manager<br><strong>Schedule: </strong>Onsite</p><ul><li>M-Th, 7:30am- 5pm; Fri, 7:30am - 1pm; Sunday, 9am - 12pm</li></ul><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time<br><strong>Hourly Rate:</strong> $17 - $21 USD/Hour</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Receive incoming merchandise and verify that it is undamaged & of sound quality.</li><li>Weighing and counting received items.</li><li>Assisting warehouse staff in retrieving specified merchandise from storage as per the delivery or shipping orders.</li><li>Prepare merchandise for delivery or shipping by packaging and labeling accurately</li><li>Moving all outgoing merchandise to the delivery area.</li><li>Ensuring that all merchandise is properly secured in the delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit.</li><li>Maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing merchandise.</li><li>Organizing warehouse merchandise and stacking them on shelves and racks in accordance with company guidelines.</li><li>Performing all duties necessary to maintain warehouse cleanliness, which includes sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED.</li><li>A forklift license. - Preferred</li><li>Proven experience working in a warehouse.</li><li>Sound knowledge of standard warehouse practices.</li><li>Proficient in the use of warehouse inventory management software.</li><li>The ability to operate warehouse lift equipment.</li><li>The ability to work well as part of a team.</li><li>Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Good physical stamina.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation </strong><br>The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today’s market.
