    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare product for testing; identifying proper components needed;</li>\n <li>Assemble pumps as per customer order and/or direction from Senior Technician/Shop Foreman;</li>\n <li>Perform pump tear down and inspection;</li>\n <li>Complete testing and prepare testing report;</li>\n <li>Ensure testing meets specified requirements;</li>\n <li>Operate a lathe;</li>\n <li>Use of overhead crane, skid steer, bobcat to move product/material as required;</li>\n <li>Paint and stamp stators as per MO requirements;</li>\n <li>Grind rotors when welds are complete;</li>\n <li>Actively contribute to lean, quality and safety initiatives;</li>\n <li>Adhering to a schedule set forth by Foreman, including on-call duties;</li>\n <li>Load/Unload and secure product on delivery trucks;</li>\n <li>Verify truck load to ensure conformance with shipping documents;</li>\n <li>General housekeeping; vehicle, yard and facility maintenance;</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification Requirements </strong><i><strong>(Minimum Education and Experience)</strong></i><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent considered an asset;</li>\n <li>3+ year’s experience in same or similar role;</li>\n <li>Overhead crane, skid steer, bobcat experience considered an asset;</li>\n <li>CNC experience considered an asset.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Requirements (</strong><i><strong>software or program knowledge needed</strong></i><strong>):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Microsoft Outlook considered an asset.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication skills; verbal and written;</li>\n <li>Able to work in a team environment;</li>\n <li>Works well independently with moderate supervision;</li>\n <li>High attention to detail.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>HSE Requirements (Training and Physical Requirements):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to perform moderate labour tasks</li>\n <li>Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Training</li>\n <li>HSE Orientation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Customer Focus;</li>\n <li>Dealing with Ambiguity;</li>\n <li>Drive for Results;</li>\n <li>Integrity and Trust.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Preferred method of application and to view all opportunities visit:</strong>&nbsp; <a href=\"https://www.nov.com/Careers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">https://www.nov.com/Careers</a></p>\n<p><strong>NOV is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination or Harassment of Any Kind</strong>: NOV is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunities for everyone and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
