We provide compassionate support, therapeutic services, and guidance to at-risk children and families.</p>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p>\n\n<p>Under the supervision of the Director of Wallis House, the Part-time Weekend Resident Advisor provides onsite supervision and support to residents, as well as overseeing the safety and security of the facility. </p>\n\n<p><strong><u>Essential Functions</u></strong></p>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Facilitate all intakes for new residents, including collecting data, inspecting resident belongings, and orienting residents to house expectations and guidelines.</li>\n\t<li>Provide Residents with a list of house rules.</li>\n\t<li>Liaise with the housekeeper to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate resident’s needs.</li>\n\t<li>Conduct room inspections to ensure Residents are properly maintaining their area, clean and neat manner per house rules.</li>\n\t<li>Ensure safety and security within the house at all times.</li>\n\t<li>Provide administrative support by answering the phone and greeting visitors and volunteers, ensuring that they have a positive experience. </li>\n\t<li>Check in with Residents who are on-site to ensure Resident safety and welfare.</li>\n\t<li>Respond to resident complaints in a timely and professional manner.</li>\n\t<li>Assist with conflict resolution in coordination with Resident Case Manager, always aiming to maintain a fair, positive, and supportive culture.</li>\n\t<li>Sensitive and responsive to the cultural differences among the agency’s client population</li>\n\t<li>Actively participate in a quality improvement project</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p>The Resident Advisor will take on special projects or additional duties as assigned.</p>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p> </p>",
