Wind Turbine Blade Repair Technician (Level 3 / Supervisor) (USA) Company: USS Wind LLC Location: 100% Travel across the United States Job Type:  Full-Time, Seasonal Pay and Benefits $35–$45 per hour (based on experience and certifications) Overtime pay Travel, accommodations, and daily allowance provided Opportunities to grow and get more certifications About the Role USS Wind LLC, a division of the CSS Industrial Group of Companies, provides advanced wind turbine services both in the U.S. and internationally in collaboration with industry leaders. We are currently looking for experienced Level 3 Blade Repair Technicians to conduct advanced inspections and perform repairs categorized from 1 to 5, while also leading field teams on active projects. This is a travel-intensive, project-based position that requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Responsibilities Inspect and document internal and external blade damage, including photographic evidence and detailed reporting Perform coating and structural repairs on blades, including leading/trailing edges, tips, and internal components, following engineering guidelines Work at heights (up to 300 ft) using platform systems Complete and submit accurate service reports and Daily Work Reports (DWR) using mobile systems Review and submit repair documentation to Operations and Engineering teams Communicate site progress and issues with internal teams and clients Support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures on wind turbine generators Assist with site setup, including coordination of labour and materials Perform rigging and de-rigging tasks as required Follow all safety procedures and participate in hazard assessments and safety meetings About You Required Certifications: Full GWO Certification (BST, ART, BTT) Arc Flash / NFPA 70E Confined Space & Rescue Respirator Fit Testing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Experience & Skills: Experience in blade repair, composites, or similar mechanical work Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions Team player with excellent communication skills Additional Requirements Valid driver’s licence with a satisfactory record Ability to pass a background check Ability to travel extensively across the U.S. Physically capable of performing job duties Work Eligibility and Safety You must be legally allowed to work in the USA.
