Our key differentiator is our 4000+ staff and our resource pool that includes the most innovative fleet, plant, and equipment the market has to offer. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the role:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63)\">The Lanes Group needs a Van Pack Engineer to join our Operational Team in Sheffield working withing a well established team that are looking to expand further with another strong member of staff.   </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Location: Sheffield</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Salary: up to £16 per hour depending on experience</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What we offer: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">21 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Uncapped earning potential. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Pension</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Death in service</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">As a Van Pack Operator, you will be:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Attending to customers, informing them of works due to be carried out and answering any concerns</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">reporting all findings / data to the appropriate teams</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">assisting with all aspects of high pressure water jetting</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Adjust pressure levels based on the condition of the system and the nature of the blockage (e.g., grease, debris, or tree roots).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Use the equipment to remove waste materials and prevent build-up in drains and sewer lines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Experience and Qualifications:  (Desirable but not essential unless stated as required)</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Full UK driving license <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">(Required) with no more than 6 points</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Water Jetting Association Red or blue book</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Banksman</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Manual Handling</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Emergency First Aid</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">NRSWA</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">EUSR National Water Hygiene</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Medium risk confined space</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Lanes Group plc comprises of a range of established service providers subsidiaries, which complement the specialist service of Lanes, by both work type and geography.
