At NATIVE HEALTH, we strive to provide the best health care available for urban American Indians, Alaska Natives, and  individuals who generally experience barriers to holistic, patient-centered, culturally sensitive health and wellness services. NATIVE HEALTH currently provides a wide range of programs, including primary medical, dental, behavioral health, WIC (available at four sites), and community health and wellness programs. We provide services to over 18,000 individuals per year, resulting in over 70,000 visits. NATIVE HEALTH is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is led by a Chief Executive Officer under the supervision of the Board of Directors. NATIVE HEALTH is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. POSITION SUMMARY:   The Planning and Capital Projects Manager position is responsible for coordinating and implementing facility program, and resource development initiatives that support the mission and growth of NATIVE HEALTH. This position helps align strategic community health priorities with funding opportunities, facility planning, and program design. Working collaboratively across departments, this position supports long-range planning efforts, grant and capital project development, project management, and reporting to ensure sustainable and culturally responsive health service delivery.  KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Strategic and Program Planning   Facility and Capital Project Development  Resource Development Support for Capital Projects   Collaboration and Communication Salary: $34.77- $42.65 DOE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Strong understanding of community health systems, planning methodologies, and funding process. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical and proposal writing. Competence in data analysis, project scheduling, and report preparation. Ability to lead collaborative projects in a multi-disciplinary environment. Familiarity with public health standards, tribal service delivery models, and regulatory processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic familiarity with project management tools.   QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in planning, public health, public administration, nonprofit management, engineering project management or related field required: Master's Degree preferred.  Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in program planning, development, or project coordination within nonprofit, community health, or government environment. Experience with grant development, facility planning, or capital project coordination strongly preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evening hours, as needed.  Ability to travel throughout Maricopa County to various community-based locations. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies as required. Ability to work outdoors and in non-traditional healthcare settings.  Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work effectively with others while meeting deadlines.   Maintains a professional demeanor in behavior, appearance, and all organizational materials produced. Possesses strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and customer service skills with a high level of professionalism. Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office applicants (Word, excel, Access, PowerPoint) and internet navigation.    Must possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver's license (or obtain one within 30 days of hire if relocating from out of state). Must have no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions within the past five (5) years and no more than two (2) at fault accidents within the past the three (3) years. Must remain insurable under NATIVE HEALTH's liability auto insurance policy.  Must successfully pass a criminal background check and obtain a Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card within ninety (90) days of employment. Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and comply with random testing during        employment. Must provide up to date immunization records. Must provide documentation of current tuberculosis (TB) screening (within the past 12 months) upon hire and maintain annual compliance.  Must obtain BLS certification within ninety (90) days of employment and maintain a valid certification throughout employment.
