With facilities and customers around the globe, ElectroCraft provides advanced precision solutions with the highest reliability and lowest total cost of ownership, which is why it is trusted by both the largest brands and the newest cutting-edge companies.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Operate machines and equipment used in electric motor production, including:</li><li>Coil winding and stator winding machines</li><li>Presses for shaft, bearing, and rotor assembly</li><li>Lathes, drill presses, or balancing equipment</li><li>Insulation insertion and forming machines</li><li>Set up and adjust machines according to work instructions, routings, and production schedules</li><li>Load laminations, wire, shafts, bearings, and other motor components into machines</li><li>Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency</li><li>Perform in-process and final inspections of motor components (stators, rotors, housings)</li><li>Measure electrical and mechanical characteristics using gauges, calipers, micrometers, or basic electrical test equipment</li><li>Identify defects such as damaged insulation, improper winding patterns, out-of-tolerance dimensions, or assembly issues</li><li>Perform basic electrical tests such as continuity, resistance, or hipot testing as required</li><li>Maintain accurate production, quality, and test documentation</li><li>Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment</li><li>Follow all safety procedures, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and electrical safety guidelines</li><li>Support lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives</li></ul><p><em>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to the job.
