Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Fuel department. Support the day-to-day functions of the Fuel operations. Responsibilities - Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget, profit and loss reviews, and take appropriate action on all financial reports - Participate in the inventory process - Maintain an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions; note any discrepancies in inventory - Train department associates on inventory/stocking and Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) - Responsible for fuel delivery and documentation of fuel inventory - Process fuel, merchandise, and lottery sales quickly and accurately - Follow opening and closing procedures for Fuel center - Maintain till according to company policy - Perform cashier functions, including opening/closing register, ringing sales, completing tender transactions, and money drops - Comply with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions to management - Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management - Maintain state, local and company compliance reports and logs - Complete incident and security reports - Clean up spills and complete Fuel Spill Report - Maintain knowledge of emergency plans numbers and procedures - Notify management of customer or employee accidents - Report all safety risks, or issues, and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud - Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair - Stock and inventory merchandise in kiosks - Clean and maintain kiosk and equipment as well as fuel dispensers, vending machines, trash receptacles, customer surfaces, and parking area outside the kiosk - Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation Qualifications Minimum - Effective Communication Skills - Ability to handle stressful situations - Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction) Desired - High School Diploma or GED - Any fuel experience Organization To support and reward our hardworking and friendly associates, we offer much more than just a paycheck.
