Reporting to the Agribusiness Manager, the Grow Team Advisor is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships within the trading area, generating sales, and promoting all Agro product lines including crop solutions, bins, machinery, and petroleum products.&nbsp;</p><p>This role involves executing a strong customer contact program, providing agronomic advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction through sound technical support and product recommendations. The Advisor will be required to stay current with market trends, products, and farming practices to contribute to the ongoing success of the Agro Division. This role plays a critical part in maintaining our reputation as a trusted agribusiness partner in the region.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;padding-left:48px;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Execute a proactive customer contact program to support and grow market presence</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Maintain and grow sales volume across Agro product lines (crop inputs, equipment, petroleum, etc.)</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Provide agronomic support and solutions tailored to individual customer needs</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Foster and manage relationships with growers, contractors, ag retailers, and internal departments</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Stay informed of industry trends, new products, and agronomic practices</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Contribute to inventory forecasting and budget alignment based on market insights</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Prepare and maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Represent South Country Co-op with professionalism and integrity in the community</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Educate customers on the benefits of membership in South Country Co-op&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Other duties as assigned&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;padding-left:48px;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">8+ years’ experience in the agriculture industry.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">5+ years of progressive agricultural sales experience.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Degree or diploma in Agriculture (BSc Ag preferred).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">CCA or P.Ag designation preferred.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driving record.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Strong agronomy knowledge across crops, soils, and horticulture.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Experience working directly with farmers, ag retailers, and contractors.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Ability to forecast market trends and manage inventory to meet budgets and customer needs.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Strong interpersonal and communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Excellent customer service skills and a collaborative team approach.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list 36.0pt;\">Professional, tactful, and diplomatic in interactions.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work with Us?</strong></p><p>At South Country Co-op, we value our team members and are committed to their well-being and success.
