This individual will play a meaningful role in the design and execution of complex water remediation and wastewater treatment projects, including proposal generation, project management, client interaction, and technical leadership.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our ideal candidate will have 10+ years of professional experience in Environmental Engineering with a strong emphasis on groundwater treatment, remediation, or process engineering. Very minimal travel is required.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and support the design of groundwater treatment and remediation systems, including process design, hydraulic analysis, and selection and layout of equipment, piping, and instrumentation</li>\n <li>Provide technical expertise for the operation, optimization, and troubleshooting of existing groundwater treatment systems and remediation infrastructure</li>\n <li>Support PFAS treatment projects, including sampling approaches, treatment evaluation, and regulatory considerations</li>\n <li>Interface with state and federal regulatory agencies, including preparation and support of permit applications and compliance documentation</li>\n <li>Prepare and review technical reports, engineering calculations, and design documents</li>\n <li>Support project planning, scheduling, and budget management, with increasing responsibility as appropriate</li>\n <li>Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior engineers and staff</li>\n <li>Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client support</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering (chemistry focus preferred), or related field</li>\n <li>10+ years of professional experience with a strong emphasis on water and wastewater treatment</li>\n <li>5+ years of professional experience in the remediation and development of contaminated industrial sites</li>\n <li>Strong expertise with permitting and state and federal environmental regulatory programs</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Ability to travel 5-10% of the time for client meetings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pennsylvania P.E. license strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Previous experience managing large remediation projects</li>\n <li>A strong Chemistry background and knowledge of process engineering (piping, instrumentation, pumps, valves, controls)</li>\n</ul>",
