Government Liaison & Relationship Management Serve as the PMU's primary interface with government counterparts, building trusted relationships across departments and levels. Navigate government processes, systems, and hierarchies on behalf of the PMU, ensuring requests, approvals, and actions are progressed efficiently. Anticipate and resolve potential blockers before they escalate, drawing on contextual knowledge and relationships to find pragmatic solutions. Act as a key facilitator,  knowing who to engage, how to frame requests, and how to get things done within government. Stakeholder Management Maintain active, productive relationships with key government stakeholders, keeping them informed and engaged as appropriate. Represent the PMU professionally in all interactions, building credibility and trust over time. Escalate issues or risks to leadership promptly, with clear context and recommended next steps. Team Support & People Management Support the PMU team (Formal management of program managers and technical oversight and sign-off provided by the Senior Program Manager). Oversee team welfare and attendance, support the Senior Program Manager in monitoring and encouraging staff performance, and act as a primary point of contact. Foster a positive working environment where the team feels supported and well-equipped to perform effectively. Office & Workspace Management Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure all workspace areas and workstations are clean, tidy, and presentable. Maintain a log of daily staff attendance and monitor desk and seat availability, communicating updates to the team in real time via Google Chat. Report maintenance issues (e.g. spills, damage, broken fixtures, lack of supplies) to the appropriate person promptly. Oversee office space access process for staff and visitors, ensuring requests are submitted, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner, and that all access records are kept up to date.
