This position independently performs engineering analyses, technical evaluations, and documentation to support the certification of mechanical and electrical equipment for seismic and wind events in accordance with applicable building codes and internal procedures.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and engineering documentation, along with the ability to manage projects and communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities not limited to:</strong></p><p><br></p><h3>Engineering Analysis &amp; Certification</h3><ul><li>Perform engineering analyses of sheet metal and structural steel components of non-structural equipment to evaluate resistance to specified seismic and wind loads.</li><li>Prepare clear, accurate, and technically sound engineering calculations, reports, and supporting documentation.</li><li>Apply engineering principles, building codes, and internal procedures to all assigned projects.</li><li>Support the design and analysis of test fixtures based on equipment requirements and test plans.</li><li>Read and interpret manufacturing, structural, and customer drawings and models.</li></ul><h3>Customer &amp; Project Coordination</h3><ul><li>Interface directly with customers to obtain drawings, models, and technical information required to complete evaluations.</li><li>Coordinate test plans and required data with field and testing personnel and support shake test logistics as needed.</li><li>Follow project schedules and provide accurate status updates to management.</li><li>Manage customer expectations through proactive and professional communication.</li><li>Identify and communicate project risks, scope deviations, and technical concerns, and recommend corrective actions.</li></ul><h3>Documentation &amp; Quality</h3><ul><li>Create organized and comprehensive engineering documentation, including calculations, drawings, reports, and transmittals.</li><li>Ensure deliverables meet internal quality standards with minimal rework.</li><li>Complete assigned tasks on schedule and in compliance with established review processes and procedures.</li></ul>",
