A&nbsp;Players Assistant/ Marshal/Ranger&nbsp;mainly ensures that golfers keep good pace-of-play and act appropriately while on the property. Successful candidates will display a hard work ethic and the ability to interact with our customers in a friendly manner.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h4>EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED</h4><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Punctuality;&nbsp;Friendly and outgoing personality&nbsp;</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Reliable car transportation&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Food &amp; Beverage or Retail work experience&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills&nbsp;</li><li>Basic computer skills and understanding&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team&nbsp;</li><li>Can work many hours on feet and can work at irregular hours</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h4>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES</h4><ul><li>Patrols the golf course. Preventing unauthorized persons from using facilities, keep play running smoothly, and assist injured or ill players.&nbsp;</li><li>Inspects player registration and green fee tickets.&nbsp;</li><li>Prevents players from entering course beyond starting tee.&nbsp;</li><li>Advises players to speed up or slow down to alleviate bottlenecks.&nbsp;</li><li>Explains rules of game to settle disputes.&nbsp;</li><li>Watch the golf course for good pace-of-play&nbsp;</li><li>Enforce alcohol and dress code policies as needed&nbsp;</li><li>Golf course maintenance; rake sand traps, fix ball marks, sweep tee mats, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Transport signage and people on and off of the golf course&nbsp;</li><li>Clean golf balls and replenish golf ball stock in pro shop&nbsp;</li><li>Any other necessary duties that aid the health and care of players and courses</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.</li><li>Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.</li><li>Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.</li><li>Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure</li><li>Must be able to lift 20 lbs</li><li>Must be able to stand on feet majority of the day.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p><strong>TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;Work is performed outdoors with exposure to extreme heat/humidity.
