Job Summary
Welcome to First Physicians Group!
We are currently hiring PRN float staff to work as needed at various FPG Provider Office locations in the Sarasota and Venice areas.
*Must be available to work a mimimum of 4 shifts a month.
*PRN positions are set pay rates:
Clinical Care Coordinator I - Medical Assistant = $21.50/hr
Clinical Coordinator II - LPN = $25.00/hr
Clinical Care Coordinator III - RN = $33.00
Provider offices are located in Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Venice Areas areas with various provider services:
Family Practice
Pediatrics
Internal Medicine
ENT (ear nose and throat)
GI
OB/Gyn
Neurology
Endocrinology
Laryngology
Pulmonology
Cardiology
Urology

Required Qualifications
*Medical Assistant Requirements (Clinical Care Coordinator I):
Requires current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by :
-American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA),
-National Healthcare Association (NHA)
-National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by:
-American Medical Technologists (AMT)
-Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
-National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); OR a certified EMT.
Note: Experienced medical assistants with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience, and with a certification from a certifying agency not noted above, or without certification , agrees to register with one of the currently accepted agencies for MA Certification and schedule a test date within 6 months from date of hire .
Test for certification may be beyond the six (6) month date.
Certification must be received and presented to HR within 12 months of date of hire.
*LPN (Clinical Care Coordinator II):
- Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
- LPN License (FL)
*RN (Clinical Care Coordinator III):
- Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.- Require a minimum of one (1) year of clinical practice experience in a medical/physician office setting.
- RN license (FL)
Required License and Certs
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date (required for all clinical positions)
*We accept BLS certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Work Days/Shift/Start Time
*Shifts are available Monday – Friday.
*Day shift: 8AM - 5PM (start and end times may vary at each office).
*8 hour shifts.
*No weekend or Holidays.
