You join a community that respects who you are away from work as much as what you do while at work.</p><p><b>Where Your Career is a Force for Good!</b></p><p><b><i>What You Need to Know: </i></b></p><p>As a Stock Warehouse Assistant in the kitting department, you will process supply totes that are used in the collection of blood products, and stock the kitting area with supplies from the warehouse, daily, to ensure consistent availability of blood collection totes</p><p>As a Red Cross Team member, you will take care of your team members – show up for every shift and give 100% while you’re there. Interact in a positive, proactive, and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customers, always demonstrating care and compassion</p><p></p><p><b>WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD:</b><br /> </p><p><b><i>Key Responsibilities: </i></b></p><ul><li>Assist with the receiving and shipment of totes to the sites we support</li><li>Assist and work with warehouse staff. Cross-train staff where possible to ensure department coverage</li><li>Work with and help coordinate with our volunteer partners who assist in the kitting operation.</li><li>Inspect, verify and report discrepancies/damaged of materials and supplies against receiving documents. Store and stack materials to prescribed methods.</li><li>Fulfill daily customer orders, prepare transportation documents, deliver materials and supplies to end user and/or departments</li><li>Operate Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as electric pallet jacks and various forklift equipment. </li><li>May assist with systemwide electronic computer inventory management system data entry, reporting functions, and with electronic inventory reconciliation process.</li><li>Other duties as required</li></ul><p></p><p><u><i><b>Standard Schedule</b>: Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm</i></u></p><p><u><i><b>Pay Information</b>: $16.32 per hour</i></u></p><p></p><p></p><p><b><i>What You Need to Succeed:</i></b></p><ul><li>Education: High School or equivalent required.</li><li>Basic reading, writing, communications, and math skills required. Knowledge of general office procedures and practices is preferred.</li><li>May be required to be certified in forklift operation.</li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license and clean DMV record may be required.</li><li>Ability to work on a team.<br /> </li></ul><p><b><i>WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE (Preferred Qualifications):</i></b>  (Any information you and the hiring manager discuss that is preferred for this role)</p><p></p><p><b><i>Physical Requirements:</i></b><br />Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs frequently; lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs. with assistance or the use of a powered industrial truck. Frequently required to push carts weighing up to 250 pounds on flat flooring or ramps. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb ladders or balance.
