The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Master's degree (MS) from an ABET accredited college or university in Geotechnical Engineering</li><li>5 years' progressive experience in geotechnical consulting</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas or ability to obtain PE License within 6 months</li><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record</li><li>Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed</li><li>May travel up to 15% of time</li><li>Ability to read and understand work plans</li><li>Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal &amp; written communication</li><li>Proficiency in engineering software in discipline (GeoStudio, LPILE, APILE, SHAFT, GROUP, SLIDE, Settle3D)</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>PhD from an ABET accredited college or university in Geotechnical Engineering</li><li>Experience with PLAXIS 2D and 3D</li></ul><p><strong>Intertek: Total Quality.
