    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a skilled and reliable Steel Worker to join our team and assist in cutting, modifying, and assembling steel components for truck chassis and bodies. This role is hands-on and requires experience with metal cutting tools, fabrication techniques, and a strong understanding of structural integrity. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and capable of interpreting technical drawings to complete precision modifications on various truck assemblies.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Cut, shape, and modify steel truck assemblies to meet custom specifications and production standards.</li>\n <li>Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.</li>\n <li>Operate fabrication equipment such as torches, plasma cutters, saws, grinders, and welding machines.</li>\n <li>Measure and mark materials for cutting or alteration using hand tools and layout instruments.</li>\n <li>Ensure accuracy and structural integrity of modifications and repairs.</li>\n <li>Assist in assembling, fitting, and securing steel parts in place using various means (bolts, clamps, etc.).</li>\n <li>Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with specifications.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards.</li>\n <li>Communicate with supervisors and engineers regarding job progress, issues, or design changes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in metal fabrication is a plus.</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of experience working with steel in a fabrication, construction, or industrial setting.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in using power tools and measuring devices.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li>\n <li>Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with truck assembly or automotive chassis modification is highly desirable.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus but not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Indoor/outdoor shop setting with exposure to noise, heat, sparks, and heavy equipment.</li>\n <li>Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.</li>\n <li>Occasional overtime or weekend work depending on project deadlines.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be flexible and willing to perform additional tasks that are assigned by the supervisor in ensuring successful completion of the program.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <em><strong>DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 18 MONTHS.</strong></em></p>",
