Description

Job Summary/Objective This position is a key member of the OrthoHealth patient care team performing clinical and clerical services to support physicians and other healthcare providers in the delivery of high quality care. Operational Duties Greets and rooms patients Takes patient subjective, review medical history, medication list , etc Takes and records patient vitals and measurements imperative to OH program Prepares rooms and ensure supplies are ready, ordering more when necessary Navigates EMR software platforms for appointment/document review/retrieval Answers phone calls, respond to patient questions, and take messages Assists with front desk duties as assigned Educates patients on health conditions, treatment, and medications Addresses patient questions regarding plan of care Manages pre-authorizations for prescribed medication as needed Transmits prescription refills as directed Starts new patient’s initial note from physician template from patient intake prior to patient appointment Performing administrative office procedures, including: coordinating appointments and procedures for patients, gathering and managing necessary documents (i.e. medical record, test results), triaging and responding to physician’s phone calls, as needed. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment All other duties as assigned
