Our team is committed to delivering exceptional experiences while fostering a workplace built on professionalism, accountability, and respect.</span><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role </span></p>\n<p>Serve as the on-site HR Business Partner to Resort &amp; Casino leadership, providing hands-on HR leadership with a focus on employee relations, workforce effectiveness, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced hospitality and gaming environment.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to GMs and operational leaders, aligning people strategies with business needs.</li>\n<li>Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for Resort &amp; Casino.</li>\n<li>Partner with GMs on workforce planning, scheduling, and employee relations.</li>\n<li>Oversee property-specific HR staff, providing coaching and direction.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, hospitality standards, and employment law.</li>\n<li>Support investigations, grievances, and conflict resolution.</li>\n<li>Foster employee engagement, recognition, and training initiatives.</li>\n<li>Provide expert guidance on employee relations, including investigations, grievances, and conflict resolution.</li>\n<li>Partner with leaders on workforce planning, scheduling, and performance management.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with AGLC requirements, employment legislation, and hospitality standards.</li>\n<li>Drive employee engagement, recognition, and training initiatives aligned to operational priorities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What Does Success Look Like</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Resort &amp; Casino leaders feel supported and equipped with HR tools.</li>\n<li>HR staff provide consistent, reliable service.</li>\n<li>Recruitment and retention improve for high-turnover roles.</li>\n<li>Employee relations issues are resolved fairly and quickly.</li>\n<li>HR practices align with both Resort &amp; Casino policies and industry standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Growth Path / Opportunities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Progression into a Senior HR leadership role across OBIC.</li>\n<li>Development in specialized areas (labour relations, hospitality HR, compliance).</li>\n<li>Broader exposure to governance and corporate HR strategy.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma or degree in HR, Business, or Hospitality.</li>\n<li>5+ years of HR experience, with exposure to hospitality or gaming preferred.</li>\n<li>Strong leadership and coaching experience.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and industry-specific (AGLC) requirements.</li>\n</ul>",
