    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>WLUK/WCWF has an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Broadcast Engineer to support daily station operations. &nbsp;This role is responsible for hands-on support of broadcast equipment, IT systems, and facilities maintenance, ensuring reliable on-air performance and efficient technical operations.</p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manager and provide support in the management of Servers, Network Security and Network Services</li>\n <li>PC/Mac hardware/software support of on-site installing, servicing and repairing workstations</li>\n <li>Provide support for the technical needs of the News Department</li>\n <li>Assist with video equipment set-up and maintenance</li>\n <li>Assist Engineering with Transmitter and Master Control maintenance</li>\n <li>Assist with LAN and WAN related hardware and software maintenance</li>\n <li>Develop knowledge of facility specific IT needs and assist in supporting these systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates degree or higher in IT, electronics or computer science or a related field</li>\n <li>2 - 4 years of related broadcast experience</li>\n <li>A great team-oriented attitude and dedication to quality</li>\n <li>Strong familiarity with Microsoft, Mac and Linux operating systems</li>\n <li>Knowledge and competency in core hardware and computer system technologies, including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and LAN/WAN networking</li>\n <li>Proficiency in troubleshooting problems and responding quickly under pressure</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred Skills:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with Avid related software and hardware products a plus</li>\n <li>CompTIA A&amp;#43;, SBE, or similar technical certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Demands/Work Environment:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule</li>\n <li>On-call duty, including weekends and holidays</li>\n <li>Ability to lift computers and equipment generally less than 50 pounds</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>EEO AND INCLUSIVITY:</strong></p>\n<p>Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
