As our European operations continue to grow, we’re looking for a Business Support Manager (Inventory, Engineering and Customer Service) to join our team in Oss, the Netherlands . What you do on a typical day
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by overseeing the design, development, and implementation of automated and scalable operational solutions
Start initiative projects including engineering, solution design and create business cases and drive successful implementations
Collaborate closely with Data Analysts to interpret operational data, generate actionable insights, and translate them into practical process enhancements
Leverage dashboards and reports to proactively identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization across departments
Lead cross-functional projects to implement data-driven changes, improving productivity, operational efficiency, and service quality
Oversee inventory control operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and the application of process automation where possible
Provide leadership and day-to-day management of the team, fostering a culture of innovation and alignment with site goals
What you need to succeed at GXO
Proven experience logistics engineering and solution design and familiar with continuous improvement
Prior experience in contract logistics is a pre-requisite
Good understanding of automation technologies and their application within a logistics environment
Demonstrated people management skills, with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams effectively
Proven project management experience and a mindset focused on continuous improvement
Fluent English and preferably native Dutch, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills
