    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold;\">SVLG Policy Fellow – Livable Communities (Workforce, Health, Education)</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Advance Inclusive Growth for a Thriving California</em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) is seeking a Summer Fellow to support our Livable Communities work within our new Policy Fellowship Program. This fellowship will provide early-career professionals with hands-on experience advancing policies that support education, workforce development, public health, and inclusive economic opportunity—all vital to building a thriving and equitable California.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About the Fellowship</span></p>\n<p>This track is part of SVLG’s <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Policy Fellowship Program</span> and will embed fellows across our core policy verticals. You’ll join a cross-functional cohort of fellows across other issue areas, supporting SVLG’s real-time advocacy to promote human capital, regional equity, and long-term economic resilience.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Key Issue Areas</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Public and private sector workforce partnerships</li>\n<li>Access to quality education and upskilling</li>\n<li>Health innovation and community health infrastructure</li>\n<li>Equitable economic opportunity and social mobility</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct policy research and provide analysis of relevant legislation</li>\n<li>Draft memos and policy summaries for internal and external audiences</li>\n<li>Support stakeholder engagement and coalition-building efforts</li>\n<li>Help plan and execute policy roundtables and special events</li>\n<li>Collaborate with members and external partners on education and workforce strategy</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Ideal Candidate</span></p>\n<p>This role is suited for <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">current college students or recent graduates</span> who aspire to careers in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">public policy, political science, social impact, or health and education policy</span>.
