    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is hiring a Civil Engineer with our Environmental, Geotechnical, and Energy with 0 to 4 years of experience in our Reading, MA office location. The candidate will have experience in evaluation, design, and construction of land development associated with renewable energy projects in the northeastern United States. </p>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist project managers with the preparation of permitting application, design plans and specifications. </li>\n <li>Visit job sites to perform project tasks including, field inspections, SWPPP inspections, and surveying and construction observation.  </li>\n <li>Office work may include engineering design, CAD drafting support, stormwater analysis, and preparation of permitting applications.  </li>\n <li>Expected to work on a variety of civil engineering projects at any given time as workload requires, but an emphasis will be placed primarily on civil land development for renewable energy projects.</li>\n <li>Willing to travel as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering</li>\n <li>Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design skills </li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>EIT Certification is a plus</li>\n <li>HydroCAD software experience is a plus</li>\n <li>Construction experience is a plus</li>\n <li>Engineering Consulting industry is a plus </li>\n <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite</li>\n <li>A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning as new tasks are assigned and new projects are undertake</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license required</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-Hybrid</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary Range: $72,000 - $78,000 based on education</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 800 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
