This individual’s primary role will involve design using AutoCAD Civil 3D on a variety of municipal infrastructure and land development projects for our municipal, First Nation, and private sector clients in the BC Interior.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>While the specific role will depend on the individual’s experience and interests, some responsibilities may include the following:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design of infrastructure using AutoCAD Civil 3D including creation of earthworks, site grading plans, road design, and water/sewer/storm infrastructure plan &amp; profiles</li>\n<li>Topographic, construction layout, and as-built survey</li>\n<li>Construction field inspection and reporting</li>\n<li>Working with diverse teams of Professional Engineers, EITs, and technologists</li>\n<li>Visits to project sites.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, strengths, and interests:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 – 10 years’ experience in a civil engineering technology role, preferably in municipal infrastructure design</li>\n<li>Graduate of a Civil Engineering Technology program</li>\n<li>Registered or eligible to register with ASTTBC as an Applied Science Technologist</li>\n<li>Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D grading, pipe networks, and corridors</li>\n<li>Proficiency in creating and reading civil infrastructure drawings</li>\n<li>Experience with MMCD is an asset</li>\n<li>Experience with field inspections is an asset</li>\n<li>Experience in GIS/ESRI software is an asset</li>\n<li>Strong written English and verbal communication skills</li>\n<li>An outgoing, positive personality with client-driven perspective</li>\n<li>Excellent organization and planning skills</li>\n<li>Commitment, energy and a strong work ethic</li>\n<li>Class 5 Drivers License and personal vehicle are required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 – $100,000 depending on experience.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Join Our Team!</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>If you’re an experienced Intermediate Civil Design Technician who values genuine connections and thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you!  Apply now to become part of a team where your role and contribution truly matters and is essential to the success and well-being of our executives, our staff, and our clients.</p>",
