Join us and be part of something extraordinary.</span></p>\n<p><span>We’re seeking a future team member for the role of <b>Senior Specialist, Production Support</b> to join our Global Clearing &nbsp;team. This role is in Lake Mary, LM or Pittsburgh, PA.</span></p>\n<p><span><b>In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:&nbsp;</b></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Experience supporting production applications in a 24x7/always-on environment, including on-call rotation support.</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across application, OS, and infrastructure layers; able to drive complex incidents to resolution.</span></li>\n <li><span>Hands-on experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability (metrics, logs, traces), including defining SLIs/SLOs and tuning alerts to reduce noise.</span></li>\n <li><span>Problem management experience, including post-incident reviews, corrective/preventive actions, and tracking issues to closure.</span></li>\n <li><span>Release and change management experience (production readiness reviews, deployment validation, rollback planning, and change controls/PTO).</span></li>\n <li><span>Capacity and performance management skills; ability to identify bottlenecks, forecast demand, and recommend scaling improvements.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to partner effectively with development, QA, operations, and infrastructure teams; clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</span></li>\n <li><span>Documentation skills, including creation of runbooks, operating procedures, architectural diagrams, and design specifications.</span>&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><b>To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:&nbsp;</b></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 4-6 years of experience in applications support or production environment required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.</span></li>\n <li><span><b>AI</b>: Demonstrated skill in AI prompting and the practical use of AI tools to improve development productivity, problem-solving, and support workflows</span></li>\n <li><span><b>Experience:</b>&nbsp;6-12 years in production support (L2) for both mainframe and Java technologies.</span></li>\n <li><span><b>Mainframe:</b>&nbsp;Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.</span></li>\n <li><span><b>Java:</b>&nbsp;Proficiency in Java, RESTful Web Services, SQL, and Unix/Linux environments.</span></li>\n <li><span><b>Tools:</b>&nbsp;Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppD), ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), and version control (e.g., Git/Windsurf).</span></li>\n <li><span><b>Soft Skills:</b>&nbsp;Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with experience in high-pressure 24x7 environments</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span><b>At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at:</b></span></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.bny.com/corporate/global/en/about-us/newsroom.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span>BNY Newsroom</span></a></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/company/bnyglobal/posts/?feedView=all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span>BNY LinkedIn&nbsp;</span></a></p>\n<p><span><b>Here’s a few of our recent awards:&nbsp;</b></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>America’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025</span></li>\n <li><span>World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025</span></li>\n <li><span>“Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span><b>Our Benefits and Rewards:</b></span></p>\n<p><span>BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
