Join a family-oriented company that values personal and professional growth.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ed Morse is currently seeking a <strong>General Merchandise Associate</strong> to join our Harley-Davidson team. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Set-up and maintain an appealing retail environment and assist customers with their shopping and purchase of merchandise.</li>\n <li>Provide excellent customer service to all of the boutique’s customers.</li>\n <li>Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.</li>\n <li>Possess the ability to work with several customers at one time while maintaining individual customer satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously. </li>\n <li>Point out any sales, specials, or new merchandise to customers.</li>\n <li>Assist customers with their selection of merchandise and offer additional product that compliments the purchase.</li>\n <li>Accept cash & credit card payments for merchandise purchases. Keep cash register accurate. </li>\n <li>Notify customers when special orders or back-ordered items are received.</li>\n <li>Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service.</li>\n <li>Provide prompt and accurate service at cash register.</li>\n <li>Assist General Merchandise Manager with attaining retail sales plans in General Merchandise.</li>\n <li>Receive and process merchandise from distributors, check merchandise received against purchase invoice, log merchandise into inventory, and prepare product for showroom floor.</li>\n <li>Conduct or participate in periodic physical inventory of all merchandise (counts, reports etc.)</li>\n <li>Assist with set-up, organization, and staging of special events such as Open houses, of HOG activities, fashion shows, etc.</li>\n <li>Create well-organized presentations, which appeal to our customers.</li>\n <li>Ensure merchandise displays are stocked, clean, dust free, and appealing to customers.</li>\n <li>Continuously maintain showroom product availability by stocking shelves and displays.</li>\n <li>Maintain update customer mailing lists.</li>\n <li>Attend training sessions to keep current with merchandising & inventory control issues.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Treat all employees and customers fairly, courteously, and with dignity.</li>\n <li>Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate professionalism in providing customer service.</li>\n <li>Review all P.A.C.E. tapes and attend training sessions to keep current in General Merchandise.</li>\n <li>Accept direction, follow instructions and work well with others.</li>\n <li>Must have ability to get along with broad customer base.</li>\n <li>Schooling or experience in merchandising and retail sales preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience with Point-of-Sale & computerized inventory systems or the ability to quickly learn.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to stand and walk the sales floor for most of the day.</li>\n <li>Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift 50 lbs. of merchandise.</li>\n <li>Majority of work is conducted indoors; however, some outdoor booth sales are conducted periodically during open houses or other events.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Ed Morse?</strong></p>\n<p>In addition to a rewarding career, Ed Morse offers our employees the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Weekly Pay</li>\n <li>Uncapped earning potential! -Bonuses, Commissions, etc. </li>\n <li>401K with company match</li>\n <li>Competitive Health Benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision</li>\n <li>Supplemental Insurance options, Life Insurance, Short-Team Disability & Long-Term Disability</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Quarterly Wellness Program </li>\n <li>Vacation Pay </li>\n <li>Sick Pay</li>\n <li>Six Paid Holidays each calendar year</li>\n <li>Fantastic Employee Purchase Program - Discounts on vehicles, parts & service</li>\n <li>Employee Referral Program - Get rewarded for working with friends</li>\n <li>Become involved in our community with Ed Morse Cares</li>\n <li>Unlimited career potential - opportunities in multiple states with over 30+ brands</li>\n <li>Ongoing Education - receive manufacturer and product knowledge training</li>\n</ul>",
