Contributing to the CIRCULAR ECONOMY model is our core focus.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Maintenance Technician 1 is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We believe in employee development and will provide opportunities for training and growth.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></td></tr><tr><td style=\"width: 100%;\"><h2>Duties and Responsibilities</h2></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following warehouse safety procedures and processes</li><li>Perform a variety of maintenance functions including but not limited to machine maintenance, building maintenance.</li><li>Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and/or oiling to ensure optimal working order.</li><li>Remove, repair, and re-install diaphragm pumps and associated plumbing.</li><li>Ability to use scissor lifts or other types of areal work platform, and ladders to perform above the ground tasks.</li><li>Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to use scissor lifts or other types of areal work platform, and ladders to perform above the ground tasks.</li><li>Ensures proper application of Lock-out Tag-out that may be needed to perform duties.</li><li>Maintain and ensure that all inspections for eye wash stations, decon sumps, emergency exit lights, and CO2 detectors are completed in a timely manner.</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p></td></tr><tr><td style=\"width: 100%;\"><h2>Qualifications</h2></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</li><li>Be able to assess own strengths and weaknesses and be able to apply that to your task.</li><li>Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to troubleshooting and repair of machines, pumps, and other production related equipment.</li><li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to maintain attention to detail.</li><li>Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, etc.</li><li>Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written and be able to communicate with your team.</li><li>Maintain a professional attitude.
