This role is ideal for a recent&nbsp;engineering graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the racing industry. PTG is a cutting-edge R&amp;D center equipped with advanced test equipment, including a wind tunnel and a 7-post vehicle dynamics rig. We handle special projects for our race teams and are dedicated to&nbsp;pushing the boundaries of technology and performance.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Set up and operate test equipment, including the wind tunnel and 7-post rig.</li><li>Conduct automotive testing in the test lab, focusing on vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, and various R&amp;D tests.</li><li>Work with hydraulic systems as part of the testing processes, including the maintenance and troubleshooting of these systems to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Assist in maintaining and calibrating test equipment, with a strong focus on electrical and electronic systems.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers on data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation of electrical/electronic data.</li><li>Utilize MATLAB and Siemens NX in support of engineering tasks.</li><li>Design, develop, and build test fixtures, including those involving electrical and electronic components.</li><li>Write and follow test procedures, and document test reports.</li><li>Perform instrumentation calibration and installation, particularly with electronic measurement devices.</li><li>Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, and perform electrical and instrumentation wiring.</li><li>Assemble and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic components as part of the testing setup.</li><li>Support special projects for our race teams.</li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s, Associate of Science, or Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field (completed or in progress).</li><li>Some familiarity or coursework with MATLAB and Siemens NX (preferred).</li><li>Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems, with experience in data acquisition systems (preferred).</li><li>Relevant hands-on experience through internships, co-op programs, or engineering projects (preferred).</li><li>Basic knowledge and experience of machining and machine tools (preferred).</li><li>Ability to understand procedural manuals and engineering/CAD drawings.</li><li>Experience with computer-controlled test equipment (preferred).</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot problems and prepare reports and documentation.</li><li>Ability to solder and crimp electrical connectors, and securely route and install instrumentation wiring.</li><li>Must be able to stoop, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when necessary.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Join PTG?</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading R&amp;D center within the motorsports industry.</li><li>Be part of a dynamic team focused on pushing the boundaries of technology and performance.</li></ul><p>If you are a recent engineering graduate with a passion for motorsports and a desire to gain valuable hands-on experience, we encourage you to apply.</p><span data-teams=\"true\" id=\"isPasted\"><p>&nbsp;</p></span><p><br></p></div></div></div>\n",
