Candidates with their CDLs are preferred.&nbsp;</p><p>Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual to fill the&nbsp;<strong>Paving Crew Laborer&nbsp;</strong>position on our&nbsp;Western Kentucky Construction crew. This crew is based out of <strong>Hopkinsville, KY</strong> and services the surrounding area. This position is responsible for prepping sites, finishing asphalt, and working on various construction projects that may require extended hours including some nights/weekends.&nbsp;</p><p>The successful candidate for this position will be competent and skilled at completing various general and manual labor tasks around the jobsite – both in grading work and/or in asphalt. They will also have familiarity and experience working around various pieces of heavy equipment. The successful candidate will also have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.</p><ul><li>Complete various manual labor tasks around the job site.</li><li>Provide directions to and take tickets from trucks and suppliers on the job site.</li><li>Operate some heavy equipment – such as a skid steer or backhoe – as needed.</li><li>Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
