The successful candidate can be based at any one of our following offices: London.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer flexible work hours to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Project Design and Coordination</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to a variety of multi-disciplinary water/wastewater projects including infrastructure conceptual design, preliminary design, detailed design, technical memorandums, design reports, plans, approvals, contract administration, and site inspections</li>\n <li>Prepare engineered drawings in both 3D (Revit) and 2D (AutoCAD) related to water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, piping, etc.</li>\n <li>Perform assessments, design calculations, data collection, and data analysis to support engineering activities</li>\n <li>Participate in the creation of contract drawings, contract specifications, and tender packages</li>\n <li>Liaise with equipment suppliers and vendors for equipment selection</li>\n <li>Contribute to the business development activities including the co-ordination and preparation of proposals, presentations, and client liaisons. Tasks can include gathering information from engineering disciplines, developing fees, schedules, work plans, and organizational charts</li>\n <li>Contribute with design team activities, coordinate with project team members including engineers and technical support staff, and ongoing support to project managers and client relationship managers</li>\n <li>Liaise with public and private sector clients, vendors, government review and approval agencies, sub-consultants, and subcontractors</li>\n <li>Liaise with multidisciplinary project teams (including transportation, municipal and structural engineers, transportation systems planners, planners, environmental scientists and technical support staff</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Learning and Development</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development.</li>\n <li>Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong personal skills and self-driven</li>\n <li>A firm understanding of Revit software, 3D design, piping and equipment layouts</li>\n <li>A post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate related to computer aided design and drafting</li>\n <li>Reliable access to a personal vehicle </li>\n <li>1-3 years of relevant work experience in the consulting industry preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment equipment/facilities, pumping stations, and community infrastructure</li>\n <li>Related experience in range of design activities including preparation of functional and detailed design drawings and reports, contract document preparation, tendering, construction administration and commissioning is preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to work in multidisciplinary team, client and industry relationships, and regulatory agency consultation</li>\n <li>Demonstrated abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork, coordination and communication</li>\n <li>Experience in BIM360, Navisworks or other collaborative softwares would be beneficial but is not required</li>\n <li>An intense motivation for personal and professional growth</li>\n <li>The ambition to be part of a growing enterprise, focused on technical excellence and superior client service</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>A deep desire to help and guide our clients on their path to success</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to network in professional settings</li>\n <li>Possess self-awareness and act responsibly on job sites</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt to a fast paced manufacturing environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p>$53,300 - $80,100</p>\n<p>Dillon is including the salary range that we in good faith believe may offer for this position. It will be dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region.
