          "text": "<p>Responsible for compliance with U.S. Customs &amp; Border Protection (CBP) laws and regulations to ensure the company’s overall compliance with all U.S. Government Regulatory agencies related to the company’s import services.</p><p><strong><u>Principle Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Regulatory Compliance:<ul><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable import/export laws, with a primary focus on the U.S. Customs regulations,</li><li>Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.</li></ul></li><li>Program Management:<ul><li>Develop and implement trade strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and support global operations.</li><li>Develop and maintain global trade compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.</li><li>Assist in preparing for and participating in internal and external audits, post-entry reviews, and compliance assessments.</li></ul></li><li>Operational Support:<ul><li>Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, legal, and procurement teams to ensure compliant movement of goods across borders.</li><li>Support classification of products (HTS), valuation, country of origin determination, and FTA eligibility.</li><li>Determine and apply Antidumping and Countervailing case numbers and duty rates.</li><li>Knowledge of the Commerce Control List (CCL) and ability to assign ECCNs</li><li>Determine if an export license is required under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)</li><li>Source Customs rulings to support classification determinations</li></ul></li><li>Training &amp; Communication:<ul><li>Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on trade compliance requirements.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for the US Customs and Border Patrol trade compliance inquiries and investigations.</li></ul></li><li>Technology &amp; Documentation:<ul><li>Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and regulatory inquiries.</li><li>Leverage data to track KPIs, monitor performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior leadership.</li></ul></li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong><u>Competencies</u></strong></p><ul><li>Self-motivated with a positive attitude and outlook.</li><li>Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under time pressure.</li><li>Excellent communication skills; interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.</li><li>Ability to interact positively with all levels of employees as well as customers and vendors.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Education/Experience</u></strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 7 years of experience in trade compliance, with a strong focus on import logistics and compliance operations.</li><li>In-depth understanding of U.S. import customs regulations, HTS classification, customs valuation, PGA requirements, free trade programs with a strong emphasis on USMCA.</li><li>Proven expertise in HTS classification and the ability to accurately classify a wide range of products.</li><li>Expertise in various programs including but not limited to Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ), Duty Drawback programs.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to meticulously review and analyze import documents to ensure compliance</li><li>Experience of driving Continuous Process Improvements to deliver business change</li><li>Experience in the automotive, chore products or base metal products with a deep understanding of logistics network optimization and third-party performance management</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information.</li><li>Exceptional ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.</li><li>A current and valid U.S. Customs Broker License is preferred.</li><li>Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (10% travel, higher during first 6 months to meet the local teams)</li></ul>",
