    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>DESCRIPTION&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Michael Baker </strong>is seeking a highly motivated Municipal Stormwater Manager in Santa Ana, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience managing technical tasks water/drainage design projects, while maintaining schedules and budgets. This Municipal Stormwater Manager will perform and review both hydrologic and hydraulic (1D and 2D) modeling and scour analysis for riverine and tidal studies and culvert/bridge replacement projects. The individual will be expected to review and coordinate work with other hydrology &amp; hydraulic (H&amp;H) staff, train junior staff and attend project staff meetings both internally and with various clients. Extensive experience with client/permitting agencies, adept with professional networking and demonstrate a desire to further develop Michael Baker International's water services in the Southern California region&nbsp;is a must.</p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as Technical Manager for both large and small water/drainage infrastructure improvements</li>\n <li>Experienced with (but not limited to) Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling (including steady, unsteady and 2D), drainage design, Floodplain modeling,&nbsp;storm water management design and regulations, stormwater&nbsp;BMPdesign, and&nbsp;MS4 Compliance</li>\n <li>Lead the technical proposal development related to flood studies and surface water management projects</li>\n <li>Oversee the development of design drawings, reports, specifications, estimates, and agency permit applications</li>\n <li>Invoice projects, track schedules and budgets</li>\n <li>Independently perform, review and train&nbsp;others on H&amp;H modeling and scour (tidal and fluvial). &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Manage and teach junior staff</li>\n <li>Attend and facilitate project meetings and prepare/make presentations</li>\n <li>Build and manage relationships with various clients</li>\n <li>Bring relationships with other large consulting firms and partnership ideas</li>\n <li>Coordinate and manage subconsultants and contractors</li>\n <li>Oversee post design/construction services</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering</li>\n <li>Local experience successfully pursuing, winning, and delivering storm drain/surface water projects with municipal agencies such as LAC PW, OCPW, RCFC&amp;WCD, SBCFCD, VCFCD, CVWD, and cities within Southern CA&nbsp;</li>\n <li>CA PE required</li>\n <li>12-15 years of relevant experience&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Proficiency in ARC GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D and SRH 2D preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to work well on a team, provide feedback, train and motivate junior staff</li>\n <li>Collaborate with regional water teams for project resource management, workshare, and pursuits</li>\n <li>Professionally represent Michael Baker International with agency staff, clients, contractors, and professional organizations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>COMPENSATION</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">The approximate compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $205,000.
