This is an excellent opportunity to work with a professional team of lab techs and help them learn and grow, while working in a comfortable and supportive hospital environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Qualities: </strong>We're Looking For</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Someone who gets excited when they help others succeed and learn new competencies.</li>\n <li>Someone who’s conquered the hard skills and now wants to enhance their career mastering soft skills.</li>\n <li>Someone who can communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, without missing important details.</li>\n <li>Someone wanting to acquire managerial aspects of running a laboratory (i.e. growth opportunity).</li>\n <li>Someone with a positive attitude and the desire to be part of an already successful team. </li>\n <li>Someone who is organized, efficient, safety conscious and approachable. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Managing Day-to-day laboratory operations, including scheduling the staff, prioritizing need and providing excellent customer service.</li>\n <li>Supervising and ensuring staff productivity, including quality assurance and improvement</li>\n <li>Coaching, training and educating staff, ensuring competency to perform assigned skills. </li>\n <li>Maintain proficiency by performing tech duties in technical operations as needed.</li>\n <li>Complying with all state, federal and hospital regulations and policies governing healthcare. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A two-year degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological and/or Medical Lab Science.</li>\n <li>Must possess certification as an MLT/MLS/MT</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>What You Can Expect:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><u>Training</u> on all in-house processes, procedures, policies and guidelines that are key to the position.</li>\n <li><u>Support</u> from the hospital leadership team, as well as the department leaders dedicated to your success (includes the Lab Director and Exec. Dir. of Clinical Ancillary Services) </li>\n <li><u>Opportunity</u> to grow while you work on your 4 yr degree. In Medical Technology/Med. Lab. Science field allowing you to become a Lab.
