If this sounds like the opportunity that you have been looking for, please apply.</p><p><br></p><p>We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician for <strong>The Barclay at Little River</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2><br></h2><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PRN Touch-Up Painter</strong></p><h2><br></h2><p>Position Summary&nbsp;</p><p>The PRN Touch-Up Painter is responsible for maintaining the appearance of resident apartments and common areas throughout our independent living senior community. This position focuses on apartment touch-up painting, wall repairs, refreshing community spaces, and preparing vacant apartments for new resident move-ins. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and helping create a clean, welcoming environment for residents and guests.</p><h2><br></h2><h2><br></h2><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform touch-up painting in vacant apartments and common areas throughout the community&nbsp;</li><li>Patch and repair minor drywall damage, nail holes, dents, and wall imperfections&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare apartment and common area walls for painting including sanding, caulking, and priming as needed&nbsp;</li><li>Match paint colors and finishes for seamless repairs&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure apartments and community spaces are clean, fresh, and move-in ready for incoming residents&nbsp;</li><li>Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas during painting projects&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain painting supplies, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner&nbsp;</li><li>Report larger maintenance or safety concerns to the Maintenance Director&nbsp;</li><li>Follow all community safety policies and OSHA guidelines&nbsp;</li><li>Work cooperatively with maintenance, housekeeping, and move-in teams to meet deadlines&nbsp;</li></ul><h2><br></h2><h2><br></h2><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Previous residential or commercial painting experience preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of wall repair, patching, and paint application techniques&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision&nbsp;</li><li>Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to safely use ladders, painting tools, and equipment&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, and kneeling&nbsp;</li><li>Reliable transportation and dependable attendance&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in senior living, hospitality, apartment turnover, or facility management is a plus&nbsp;</li></ul><h2><br></h2><h2><br></h2><p><strong>Schedule</strong></p><ul><li>PRN / As Needed position&nbsp;</li><li>Typically a few shifts per month based on apartment turnover and community needs&nbsp;</li><li>Flexible scheduling available</li></ul><p><br></p>",
