Salary Range: $59,000 - $65,000 annual depending on experience. We are seeking an Inplant Ink Technician to work at our customer's site. The technician will serve as a liaison between INX and the customer and will be responsible for maintaining INX's on-site ink room. As an Inplant Tech you will be responsible for:
Maintaining INX's excellent relationship with the customer Reviewing scheduling and coordinating jobs with customer Being available for service call-ins as needed Performing technical service, color matching, ink production and dispensing ink Evaluating production requirements based on customer schedule changes Controlling Work-off Inventory management and monthly consignment counts Performing job estimates Providing press-side technical support Completing monthly reports Performing Quality Control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batches Following all safety requirements Data entry accuracy Manufacturing batches under 100 pounds
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent Be able to match colors effectively and pass a color vision test Demonstrate excellent customer service skills Effectively communicate with peers and customers Have excellent written, reading comprehension and math skills Demonstrate proficient with Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently Have good organization skills 2 to 5 years of work related experience In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:
Spectrophotometer knowledge & experience helpful Technically qualified to service Offset Sheetfed products Familiar with X-Rite IQC Flexible packaging knowledge Flexographic printing knowledge Solvent ink knowledge Previous lab, inplant, and warehouse experience SAP Knowledge Inplant pressroom experience College degree
