    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This position will report to our Derwent, Ohio office. The construction Project Manager (PM) is responsible for, and shall exhibit extreme ownership of, all aspects of the assigned projects. The PM position requires a great deal of attention to detail, planning, foresight, a high degree of self-motivation and discipline, high initiative, and trust. The PM’s responsibility begins upon project award and is carried out through project closeout. The PM is responsible for the overall successful completion of multiple construction projects running simultaneously.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Promote the company’s safety culture throughout all levels of the organization.</li>\n <li>Develop, with all stakeholders, a comprehensive project execution plan and all other required project specific plans.</li>\n <li>Perform a thorough review and understanding of the project contract documents, and develop a contract reference guide to be used by project stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Perform a thorough review of all drawings, and develop a BOM, pre-fabrication assembly plan, and procurement plan for required project materials, including civil, structural, and mechanical items.</li>\n <li>Develop a subcontracting strategy with the aid of the Senior Project Manager.</li>\n <li>Work closely with the Project Superintendent, Project Scheduler, and Subcontractors to develop a detailed critical path schedule and Earned Value Measurement workbook.</li>\n <li>Coordinate bi-weekly, or weekly, scheduling meetings to review progress and variations to the project schedule, and develop a mitigation strategy when necessary.</li>\n <li>Prepare labor and cash flow forecasts for the life of the project and update throughout the project life-cycle.</li>\n <li>Closely monitor costs and measure performance against the estimate and baseline forecast and provide cost to complete forecasts monthly.</li>\n <li>Review and approval all project related accounts payable.</li>\n <li>Prepare project invoicing utilizing Earned Value, Schedule of Values, Percent Complete, or other methods as specified in the contract.</li>\n <li>Estimate, price and schedule impacts, and negotiate project change-orders in accordance with the contract documents.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the contract documents.</li>\n <li>Act as the primary resource and point of contact for all internal and external project stakeholders, including inter-company departments, subcontractors, owner/client, engineers, and municipalities.</li>\n <li>Prepare and submit all progress reports as required by the contract or internal project controls requirements.</li>\n <li>Make frequent job-site visits to coordinate with the project superintendent, subcontractors, customer, and other project stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Ensure all project certificates and close-out documents are submitted in accordance with the contract requirements.</li>\n <li>Facilitate post job lessons learned meeting with key project personnel.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Preferred: </strong>A two year degree in engineering, construction management or related field experience.</li>\n <li><strong>Preferred:</strong> 5 + years of project management experience and a thorough knowledge of the natural gas industry.</li>\n <li>Frequent Travel is required (jobsite visits).</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal.</li>\n <li>Ability to anticipate problems and use sound judgement and tact in handling confidential and other matters.</li>\n <li>Familiar with reading and understanding construction critical path schedules and earned value measurement.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated track record of successful goal achievement.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret contracts, budgets, reports, construction drawings and technical manuals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>This position does require a mandatory 4-8 month field training requirement</strong></p>",
