    "description": "<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<h2>Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse</h2>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong>: Starting at $52.00/-55.00/hr plus $5.09 for Health and Wellness; can vary based on ICU assigned to. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary</strong>The ICU RN delivers critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions requiring continuous monitoring and advanced interventions.</p>\n<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor and manage critically ill patients 24/7</li>\n <li>Operate and manage life-support equipment (ventilators, CRRT, IABP, etc.)</li>\n <li>Administer complex medications and therapies</li>\n <li>Perform rapid assessments and respond to emergencies</li>\n <li>Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams</li>\n <li>Provide patient and family education and emotional support</li>\n <li>Maintain detailed clinical documentation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Specialized Areas</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Surgical ICU (post-cardiac, vascular, and complex surgeries)</li>\n <li>Medical/Cardiac ICU (heart failure, stroke, respiratory failure, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)</li>\n <li>Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)</li>\n <li>Current BLS certification (ACLS required for ICU/ED)</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience</li>\n <li>Strong English communication and documentation skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>\n <li>Completion of VA-required training (safety, HIPAA, EHR, etc.)</li>\n <li>Compliance with credentialing and privileging standards</li>\n <li>Ability to float between units as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Aptive</h2>\n<p>Arrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP).
