From construction management and observation/inspection services to laboratory testing and materials and forensic engineering, our Construction Services market helps to develop and maintain America's infrastructure and supply chain and is a recognized industry leader with more than 25 accredited laboratories.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Step into Your New Role</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Kleinfelder's Salt Lake City, UT office seeks an experienced Construction Inspector III to join our team.  </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Kleinfelder offers:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Competitive Wages.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Benefits, including medical, dental, vision, & life insurance; HSA & FSA; 401K; paid holidays; and paid time off (PTO);</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Certification training and professional development assistance (ICC, ACI, AWS, etc.);</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Employee referral bonuses.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Career advancement opportunities with one of the largest and most respected firms in the industry.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>We're looking for individuals with strong initiative, who will perform construction observation and materials testing on various projects to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Specific responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Following proper procedures,</li>\n <li>Completing work in a timely manner,</li>\n <li>Prepare daily field observation reports and materials testing data sheets.</li>\n <li>Performing accurate computations, and</li>\n <li>Maintaining cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc.</li>\n <li>Help in laboratory testing of materials.</li>\n <li>Training technicians and helping grow the Houston Office.</li>\n <li>Leading other junior technicians on long-term projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This position may require travel from time to time.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Minimum 5 years in the field or in trade-related training in a design, construction inspection, construction materials engineering/testing, or other construction related field.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience with equipment used in construction inspection, and field testing of construction materials.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write, comprehend and speak English fluently.</li>\n <li>Attendance, punctuality and reliability are essential requirements.</li>\n <li>Able to work independently, make routine decisions concerning construction work progress.</li>\n <li>Current/valid State Driver's License REQUIRED with acceptable driving record.</li>\n <li>Ability to pass a fingerprint/background check.</li>\n <li>Construction field materials testing certifications, i.e. Asphalt, concrete, workzone, pavement marking, environmental, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree or equivalent to include courses in related work type</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder:</strong> Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
