    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span></p>\n<p>JSAS HealthCare in Neptune, NJ is seeking a compassionate and experienced Substance Abuse Counselor to join our Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) program. The counselor will provide assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, case management, and recovery support services to individuals receiving medication treatment for opioid use disorder.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is committed to evidence-based care, harm reduction principles, and supporting clients in achieving their recovery goals.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments and psychosocial evaluations.</li>\n<li>Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.</li>\n<li>Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with medical providers, nurses, case managers, and other treatment team members.</li>\n<li>Educate clients and families about opioid use disorder, recovery, relapse prevention, and MOUD.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.</li>\n<li>Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of opioid use disorder treatment and recovery principles.</li>\n<li>Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>CADC, LCADC, LSW, LCSW, LAC, or LPC credential.</li>\n<li>Experience in opioid treatment programs or MOUD settings.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with electronic health records.</li>\n<li>Bilingual abilities are a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary commensurate with experience</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">$3,000 Sign-On Bonus</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Top of Form</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, and long term disability insurance</li>\n<li>Paid time off and holidays</li>\n<li>Retirement plan</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Bottom of Form</p>\n<p> </p>",
