    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>Role:</u></strong></p><p>The Talent Development &amp; Training Specialist plays a vital role in shaping the employee experience and driving performance across the Credit Union. This position is responsible for onboarding new hires, delivering engaging <strong>training sessions</strong>, and <strong>traveling to retail branches</strong> to ensure consistent, <strong>high-quality instruction</strong>. With a strong focus on <strong>content creation</strong>, <strong>coaching</strong>, and <strong>program evaluation</strong>, the specialist helps foster a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and member-focused service.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>(25%) <strong>Organize onboarding</strong> of new employees. This includes guiding them through orientation, introducing Credit Union history, systems, policies, and service expectations, and ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">(</span>25%) <strong>Conduct training sessions</strong> for employees at all levels. These sessions cover systems, software, operational procedures, and service standards, and are delivered through in-person, virtual, and blended learning formats.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">(</span>25%) <strong>Travel to retail branches</strong> to facilitate in-person training. During these visits, the specialist leads instruction on point-of-sale systems, software tools, and operational policies, while reinforcing a high-performing, member-focused culture.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">(</span>15%)<strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Assists with the development of customized training</strong> solutions through collaboration with departments leaders and the training team and provides one on one coaching and support to employees as needed.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">(</span>5%) <strong>Tracks the progress of trainees</strong> through routines tests, observations, and feedback from department leaders; evaluates the effectiveness of the training programs and makes recommendations for improvements.</li><li><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">(</span>5%)&nbsp;Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Performance Measurements:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Must comply with government and other regulations affecting the credit union industry including, but not limited to, OFAC and the Bank Secrecy Act.</li><li>Meets or exceeds performance expectations as described in Essential Functions and Responsibilities.</li><li>Please refer to Annual Performance Goal document for remaining Performance Measurements.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Knowledge and Skills:</u></strong></p><p>Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.&nbsp;</p><p>Education: (1) A bachelor&#39;s degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor&#39;s degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).&nbsp;</p><p>Interpersonal Skills: Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.&nbsp;</p><p>Other Skills:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Strong technology skills.</li><li>Excellent communication both written and spoken.</li><li>Financial or retail banking industry experience (preferred)</li></ul><p>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
