They set the tone for the guest&rsquo;s entire visit. Upon arrival at the lounge the Host will greet the guest, calling them by name, check credentials and/or process sales and usher guest into the lounge. The Host provides lounge tours and completes guest discrepancy reports. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Host Basic Skills&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li><p><em>Hospitality Focus</em> &ndash; focus on guest satisfaction and providing memorable experiences. Generous, friendly and warm spirited. &nbsp;</p></li><li><p><em>Guest Experience</em>- Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times ensuring highest level of guest experience in an elevated environment while accurately answering inquiries from guests.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p><em>Active Listening</em> &ndash; Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. &nbsp;</p></li><li><p><em>Reading Comprehension</em> &ndash; Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. &nbsp;</p></li><li><p><em>Speaking&nbsp;</em>&ndash; Talking to others to convey information effectively.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p><em>Writing&nbsp;</em>&ndash; Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. &nbsp;</p></li><li><p><em>Conflict Resolution</em> &ndash; deescalate situations in a professional and courteous manner. &nbsp;</p></li><li><p><em>Problem Solving</em> &ndash; develop solutions to remove obstacles to problems that may arise.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><strong>Host Primary Job Duties&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li><p>Interact with guests via premier clubroom/bar environment in a professional and pleasant manner.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Welcome guests by name and assist them throughout their stay. &nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Being accountable and taking ownership of the guest&#39;s experience from beginning to end. &nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Employing the Guest First philosophy in meeting guests&#39; needs and expectations. &nbsp;</p></li><li><p>The ability to listen to the guest&#39;s needs, in turn offering confident recommendations, resulting in high satisfaction from the guest with the service they received. &nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Ability to make decisions quickly and effectively, when unanticipated situations may arise, putting guest experience at the forefront of everything you do.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Knowledgeable about the lounge, each guest and the surrounding area&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Communicate with guests over the phone and in person. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Provide all information guests need to enjoy their stay; it may include providing information on the facilities and the services for booking.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Possess basic working knowledge of alcoholic beverages and food offerings &nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Complete paperwork related to daily sales, passenger counts and miscellaneous reporting&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Always follow established safety procedures.
