    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>SRI’s Computer Science Laboratory (CSL) develops leading-edge tools and methods for areas including computer security, high-assurance systems, advanced user interfaces, computer networking, robotics, biotechnology, and nanotechnology. We study the logical foundations of scalable systems beyond the scope of traditional testing or simulation, and we create and apply high-level tools for rigorous mechanical analysis.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>CSL is currently searching for an intern to join their team.  The goal of the summer internship will be to develop a reinforcement learning framework for dynamical systems and agentic frameworks.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and evaluate relevant machine learning frameworks and software</li>\n <li>Document the research ideas and publish an academic paper</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>-Current PhD student majoring in Computer Science or a related field</p>\n<p>-Experience with machile learning frameworks</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The salary range is: $40/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
