The successful candidate will work under the direction of the lead tech to help service, repair, and install water/wastewater equipment and systems. Hands-on training provided.</li>\n <li>Minor welding or fabrication as needed.</li>\n <li>Help stage tools, rigging, and materials; set up and break down job sites.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with OSHA and confined-space safety protocols; complete service reports and daily logs.</li>\n <li>Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years as a technician in general construction or industrial maintenance, with a mechanical focus (pumps, piping, rotating equipment)</li>\n <li>Must be comfortable working in and around wastewater environments</li>\n <li>Basic mechanical knowledge</li>\n <li>Able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3 years related experience</li>\n <li>Maintenance experience</li>\n <li>Experience in Wastewater services, heavy civil construction, or other heavy industry\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Certifications</strong>\n    <ul>\n     <li>OSHA 40-hour</li>\n     <li>Confined Space Entry</li>\n     <li>CPR & First-Aid</li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li><strong>Technical Skill Set</strong>\n    <ul>\n     <li>Proficient with basic hand and power tools; mechanically inclined</li>\n     <li>Able to read equipment manuals, schematics and blueprints</li>\n     <li>Clear communicator, comfortable working side-by-side with plant personnel</li>\n     <li>Self-motivated and organized</li>\n     <li>Advanced skills such as laser assignments and vibration analysis </li>\n     <li>Exposure to welding or pipefitting is a plus</li>\n    </ul></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Mobility & Driving</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid driver’s license </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasionally required to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl</li>\n   <li>Talk and hear</li>\n   <li>Lift and/or move up to 75 pounds</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasionally exposed to: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Moving parts</li>\n   <li>Fumes and/or airborne particles</li>\n   <li>Extreme heat</li>\n   <li>Risk of shock</li>\n   <li>Inclement/outdoor weather</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Noise level is loud at times</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc.
