font-weight: bold\">JOB SUMMARY</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Performs a variety of fundamental field engineering tasks under general supervision of a senior level engineer, involved in the installation, operations, testing and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems.  Systems include – MYRA, NINER, JUDGE, Former Soviet Union (FSU) simulators, IADS, TPS, ANGEL, RADS, etc.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><em>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Conducts research and reference reading to assist higher-level engineers in obtaining technical information and keeps informed of currently approved standards, codes, and procedures applied to engineering specialty.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Performs engineering or other highly technical tasks that are varied and may be somewhat difficult in character.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Plans and carries out successive engineering steps and resolves technical problems by standard practices and techniques, such as tolerance studies and design calculations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Supports projects with limited scope or parts of more complex projects with detailed instructions on the intent and scope of the documents to be prepared.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Generate sections of design specifications of more complex projects or complete specifications of less complex projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Using computer-assisted test methods, conducts laboratory investigations on equipment or systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assists in preparation of reports, correspondence or technical studies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Studies currently approved standards, codes, and procedures applied to the engineering specialty.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Prepare, deliver and submit technical presentations for in-process design and review meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Requires successful completion of an accredited Associate Degree and/or Technical Apprentice Program in Electronics, or military equivalent training</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience at the journeyman level, with three (3) years’ experience at the Craftsman level</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Applicants must be able to exercise independent judgment, demonstrate knowledge of quality management principles, understand processes and interrelationships, interpret and verify system/equipment physical condition and functional performance indicators, assess procedural compliance, compile and analyze trends, as well as track and resolve corrective and preventive action</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Must have a professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles, and a familiarity with related engineering field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Must have a practical knowledge of test methods and practices sufficient to perform routine to more complex engineering procedures and to prepare or make minor modifications of standard test procedures or test equipment work instructions</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
