This is both a proactive and reactive position- requiring team members to take appropriate preventative measures to prevent equipment failure, while also being ready to jump into action when a lift goes down. This position follows a 4-10s schedule, and you may be required to work weekends, holidays, evenings, at heights and in adverse weather conditions.</p><p>Essential Job Duties (including but not limited to):</p><ul><li>Work with all operations departments to make sure lifts are all running safely and efficiently. </li><li>Be familiar location of all ski lifts and travel routes on the mountain.  Know how to operate the lift controls, run lift on auxiliary or evacuation diesels.</li><li>Perform daily pre-operation and operational inspections of ski lifts for safe operation.</li><li>Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance procedures.</li><li>Climb lift towers to inspect, diagnose, adjust, and repair or replace components at extreme heights in all weather conditions.</li><li>Repair, remove and/or replace mechanical parts of lifts as necessary, both on hill and in repair shop.</li><li>Must have the ability to trouble shoot, diagnose, and repair or replace ski lift components.</li><li>Maintain service records and documentation.</li><li>Must be able to competently and safely operate a snowmobile and ATV</li></ul><p></p><p>Candidate Preferences and Requirements:</p><p>Preferred Skills/Certifications:</p><ul><li>2 year Trade School</li><li>Level II magnetic particle NDT certified.</li><li>Riggers/Signal Person Certification Card</li><li>OSHA 10 card.</li><li>Fork Lift/Telehandler Certification</li><li>Electrical Experience</li><li>Welding Experience</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>1-2 years Lift Maintenance experience</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Can learn and perform most basic maintenance on Doppelmayr and Yan lift mechanical systems</li><li>Demonstrate the ability and willingness to further develop skills, abilities and knowledge on their own.</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.</li><li>Be able to work flexible work schedules and long hours to complete emergency repairs.</li><li>Must be willing to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions.</li><li>Basic understanding of A.N.S.I.
