We appreciate your interest in joining our team and look forward to reviewing your application. </em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Audacy DC is looking for a talented individual to join our staff as Board Operator.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Job responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to the program and commercial logs, following applicable laws and FCC regulations</li>\n <li>Help administer contests, answer listener phone calls, screen listener calls for live shows, operate satellite receivers, take transmitter readings, conduct EAS tests, etc.</li>\n <li>Must be detail-orientated person available to work evenings, overnights, weekends, vacation fill-in and holidays.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned by Management</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>More About You:</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Required & Preferred:</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous experience running a studio board, editing play-by-play highlights and interviews using a digital editing program such as Adobe Audition is required.</li>\n <li>The ideal candidate will have previous radio experience running a sound board, booking guests, write and editing audio.</li>\n <li>Previous experience as a radio board operator, preferably at a sports talk radio station/network.</li>\n <li>Must have experience with digital operating system (Media Touch, Audio Vault, Enco or Profit).</li>\n <li>Must be a team player, computer savvy and have the flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, overnights and holidays.</li>\n <li>Minimum Education Level: HS diploma or equivalent.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Important Notes:</h2>\n<p>Please be aware that Audacy will <strong>never</strong> ask you to send money at any point during the hiring process.
