Focusing on our new high-end bar, located on the top floor of our iconic tower. This high-volume requires a passion for craft cocktails and live entertainment. The new hot spot in Fort Lauderdale will offer luxury products and service, in a dynamic environment. </p>\n<p>Reporting to the outlet General Manager the restaurant Hostess, you will support and provide excellent service at our prestige tower cocktail lounge, located on the top level of our iconic resort. This high-volume requires a passion for personalized service and guest engagement. The new hot spot in Fort Lauderdale will offer luxury products and service, in a dynamic environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Warmly greet guests upon arrival at the cocktail lounge, providing a personalized and hospitable welcome.</li>\n <li>Assist guests with seating arrangements, considering their preferences and group size, to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.</li>\n <li>Manage the waitlist during peak hours, providing accurate wait time estimates and keeping guests informed of their status.</li>\n <li>Maintain a tidy and organized hostess station, including menus, reservation books, and seating charts, to facilitate smooth operations.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with servers and bartenders to coordinate seating assignments and ensure timely service for guests.</li>\n <li>Monitor the flow of guests in the lounge, anticipating and addressing any potential service issues or guest concerns.</li>\n <li>Assist with answering phone calls, taking reservations, and providing information about the cocktail lounge and resort amenities.</li>\n <li>Uphold the resort's standards of professionalism, courtesy, and hospitality at all times while interacting with guests and colleagues.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage and guest services, to enhance the overall guest experience.</li>\n <li>Oversee guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.</li>\n <li>Adhere to departmental policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Effectively communicate with peers, management, line, and front-of-the-house employees </li>\n <li>Practice effective listening: (seek to understand) </li>\n <li>Perform related duties as required. </li>\n <li>Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property. </li>\n <li>Adhere to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by Resort policy. </li>\n <li>Be courteous to all guests and coworkers. </li>\n <li>Maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment/hostile work environment policy dictated in the Employee Handbook </li>\n <li>Maintain complete knowledge of all outlet offerings.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated individual </li>\n <li>Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English. </li>\n <li>Must have effective communication skills. </li>\n <li>Ability to implement and uphold service standards. </li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments. </li>\n <li>Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort. </li>\n <li>Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations. </li>\n <li>Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Experience, Education, & Licensure</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED recommended. </li>\n <li>Some College experience or Degree recommended. </li>\n <li>Minimum of one year Host or related experience required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>As a valued member of the CoralTree team, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Group medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. </li>\n <li>Participation in a pre-tax flexible benefit plan for healthcare and dependent care reimbursement </li>\n <li>An employee assistance program </li>\n <li>Paid time off/sick time </li>\n <li>Participation in a 401(k) plan with a company match </li>\n <li>Complimentary team member meals </li>\n <li>Complimentary room nights at CoralTree Hospitality managed properties </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Join us in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, building vibrant communities, and shaping the future of travel and hospitality. #piersixtysixresort </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
