About Company: Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Oklahoma City, Quail Springs Culinary (QSC) includes 5 restaurant concepts that operate in 9 states with a total of 78 company owned and franchised locations. Each QSC business has its own unique culture and set of values that allow them to be successful in their respective markets. About the Role: As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and producing high-quality meals that meet the standards of our establishment. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction by ensuring that food is prepared safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with the kitchen team, including the Head Chef, to execute menu items consistently and creatively. This role requires physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle kitchen equipment and ingredients while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Ultimately, your contribution will help create a positive dining experience that encourages repeat business and enhances the reputation of our culinary services. Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen environment. Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes, safety instructions, and communicate with team members. Demonstrated manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform kitchen tasks including standing for long periods and moving objects. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards applicable in the United States. Ability to follow directions from the Head Chef and work collaboratively within a team. Preferred Qualifications: Formal culinary training or certification from an accredited institution. Experience working under a Head Chef or in a high-volume kitchen setting. Familiarity with diverse cooking techniques and international cuisines. Basic knowledge of inventory management and kitchen supply ordering. Ability to adapt quickly to changing menu requirements and kitchen workflows. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Assist the Head Chef in food production planning and inventory management. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including handling and moving objects as needed. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate meal preparation and service. Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and lifting ingredients or supplies. Skills: The required skills such as food preparation and production are essential for daily meal creation, ensuring dishes meet quality and safety standards. Speaking and reading English enable clear communication and comprehension of recipes, safety protocols, and team instructions.
