    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>JOB SUMMARY</u></strong></p><p>The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional service during banquet events and ensuring proper set-up and break-down of event spaces. This role operates on an on-call basis and will be scheduled as business demands require. Scheduling will vary, and regular hours are not guaranteed. This role requires adherence to Saracen Casino Resort&rsquo;s policies and procedures, as well as maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service. Will report to Banquet &amp; In Room Dining Manager&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons, communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.</li><li>Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications and standards.</li><li>Serve food and beverages to guests during banquet events, ensuring accuracy and quality of orders.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces, including set-up and break-down of tables, chairs, and service stations.</li><li>Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.</li><li>Ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction during events.</li><li>Assist in inventory management by reporting shortages of banquet supplies.</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service delivery.</li><li>Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.</li><li>Attend all necessary training meetings.</li><li>Assist in other projects as directed by the Banquet and In-Room Dining Ops Manager.</li><li>Outstanding example of and a credit to Saracen Casino Resort</li><li>Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent experience required.</li><li>Previous experience in banquet service or event set-up, preferably in a hotel or casino environment.</li><li>Must have a professional appearance and be a team player.</li><li>Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.</li><li>Must possess excellent communication skills.</li><li>Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.</li><li>Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.</li><li>Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.</li><li>Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.</li><li>Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.</li></ul><p><strong><u>PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS</u></strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
